In this project, Hagan Architects, Inc. was asked to design the conversion of an existing wood deck into a covered, screened porch in the historic district of Decatur, Georgia.  Using the structure of the old deck as a base, we developed construction methods that allowed for the new structure to feel symmetrical while built on the very irregular construction of the original deck.
